With that being said there is no rational argument for the message of Jesus. It is the truth of love that sweeps over somebody, the compassion for your neighbors, the Godly acts of kindness that sweep us up and work through us that is the source of God working through us, independent beings destined for death in a Universe of entropy and death (Satan).
You are, of course, welcome to believe that. Seeing as how there is no evidence that links compassion to God, however, I am not going to believe it simply because you say so. You may as well be telling me that compassion is a supernatural force given to humanity by the Eiffel Tower. There is just as much evidence and reason to believe that.
I think Christians and Satanists can find a lot of common ground, though, and can work together to oppose elements such as evangelistic meddling in the lives of people who don’t share their beliefs. The key in accomplishing anything together, however, is empathy.
In that light, I’m not one of these New Atheists who is going to come along and shout at you at how your beliefs are wrong and belittle you but, by the same token, you need to be one of those Christians who understands I’m not interested in hearing about the supernatural. If we’re going to work against people who absolutely do want to force their beliefs and way of life on us, we cannot be doing the same to each other.
