Unsurprising coming from the director of Ex Machina, a movie that not only sexualized Asian women in the form of the silent dancing servant robot, but literally had the lead white robot take the skin off of a dormant Asian robot and put it on herself. All this, and a bunch of violence inflicted on the Black robots.

The same guy who wrote The Beach, which despite being set in Thailand, managed to be entirely about white people.

I just can’t see anything good ever coming from this guy. I have no plans to see Annihilation.
