True. I am simply going by Christianity being faith-based (which is how it describes itself), with the justification for this faith being derived neither from deductive nor inductive logic. It is derived from the divine authority ascribed to God. It even contains within it statements that suggest it is impossible to deduce the truths laid out in the Bible, because “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
So, for example, going back to Genesis, when the Bible states that “God created the heavens and the earth,” this is not a logic-based truth statement. It is a statement that purports to be true, which the Christian is to take on faith.
