This show just makes me want to hear ALL the party tapes from ALL the old school DJs, because it is still some of the coolest stuff ever recorded.

Regarding this article, you’re right and I hear you (even though what I want to be hearing right now is those tapes…), and if a TV series or movie ever got it right, that would be a mind blowing cultural milestone. I will say, though, if you’re hoping for something better, you should aim higher than High Fidelity. So overrated.
