The IDW Was Always a Clown Car of Anti-Intellectualism

The veneer of thoughtfulness and intellectualism is gone. These people are anti-science.

Let’s check in on what these folks have been up to lately.

• Jordan Peterson: Currently spewing antivax disinformation on social media.
• Eric R. Weinstein: Currently spewing COVID-19 conspiracy theories on social media, when not touting his geometric unity theory of physics that has been roundly rejected by the entire scientific community.
• Ben Shapiro: Currently vomiting anti-vaccination mandate disinformation on social media.
• Dave Rubin: Honestly who cares.
• Joe Rogan: Recently seen touting ivermectin as a remedy to COVID-19 and admitting to being unvaccinated. Has consistently used his podcast to platform antivax conspiracy theorists and bash legitimate scientists.
• Sam Harris: Currently trying desperately to save his reputation by trashing Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying’s antivax disinformation. Which, admittedly, is funny.

These people are not just anti-science; they are exploiting a global pandemic to boost their own profiles. And this is what they have always done. All their grievance-mongering, pseudo-scientific posturing, and conspiracy theories have always been about their own self promotion, never about real science or the expansion of intellectual knowledge. Not a single one of them has produced anything of merit within their respective fields, and none of them ever will.
