That’s exactly what I do. If a candidate wants my vote (and the votes of others like me), he or she will have to be up to my standards. It is laughable that establishment hacks want to demean me for not giving my vote away to corrupt charlatans, and, instead of insisting candidates be less abysmal, insist that I be less principled.

Fuck that.

My vote is the only bargaining power I have in a democratic system, and I sure as hell am not going to be brow-beaten into throwing it behind a cadre of corporatist, warmongering liars who worship at the altar of oligarch blood money. If you take one penny of oligarch money, you don’t get my vote.
