It is perfectly understandable that some woke people feel skeptical about mainstream climate science. You’re aware that your government and its politicians lie constantly, and there’s no good reason to give them the benefit of the doubt when they say “Yeah we’re gonna need way more authority over human behavior on a global scale,” especially when it involves a total transformation of the existing world economy that is surely worth trillions of dollars.

Perfectly understandable. The line the mainstream media takes, of citing how N out of M scientists believe in global warming, is just an appeal to authority, a textbook logical fallacy.

This is why I advocate that people take a few minutes to learn the science of global warming, instead of relying on a highly politicized and notoriously dishonest media to report on it.
