I think examples like this are interesting, but they do not instruct people about how climate change works. They just supply another data point that verifies climate change is happening. As a climate scientist, you should write something talking about the mechanisms of action in climate change, because I think when everyone understands it at an intuitive level, rather than just having to accept statistics and reports, we will see real change in the way this is discussed.
It’s a consequence of quantum mechanics. I personally think that, once you understand the physical processes at work, Global Warming is Easy to Understand. But, I am neither a meteorologist nor a climate scientist, and, to really get the message out, more climate scientists need to explain the physics of climate science in a way people can understand and communicate to each other.
