Framing a desire for access to more information on food labels as “anti-GMO” is nonsense. In principle, what is wrong with complying with the democratic wishes of the population and requiring GMO food to be labeled as such? If such a vast majority of people in the United States prefer to have GMO labeling, isn’t that how it should work? Arguing against disclosing to people what they are putting in their bodies in spite of this overwhelming democratic preference is the height of promoting corporate special interests over the public will.

That’s exactly how we got where we are with regard to climate change and climate deniers. Special interests have been allowed to control policy and manipulate the narrative, and now we’re staring over the precipice of a cataclysm.

Just the facts: Writer. Gamer. Feminist. Educated in Astrophysics. Professional Gambler. Student of Language. Satanist. Anarchist.
