There is absolutely nothing unscientific about mandating food labeling on the basis of the breeding method of ingredients. If someone indicates that a food was produced with GMO, that is a claim that is either factual or counterfactual. Either the food was produced with GMO or it was not. That is neither scientific nor unscientific; it’s just a truth statement. Just like when someone indicates that a food contains 10 grams of protein.
You’re literally arguing that providing information is unscientific. That’s a ridiculous argument.
