I think he’s earned all the disdain he’s receiving from Clintonites and former “Sandersites” who are coming around to the reality that he’s a faux messiah.
Calling this guy a ‘faux messiah’ seems vaguely anti-semitic to me. It’s definitely more often applied to Bernie than to Clinton, too.
For instance, if you do a Google search on “Hillary Clinton” you get about 5.5 million results. If you do a Google search on “Bernie Sanders” you get about 1.5 million results. However, despite this vastly larger number for Clinton, if you add “false messiah” to the search parameter, you get more returns for Sanders than Clinton, about 15,000 to 10,000.
In other words, 1% of all returns for Bernie Sanders also include the “false messiah” mention, whereas only 0.18% of returns for Clinton include it. An over 5x disparity seems too big to just be chance, so this is probably some kind of low-key anti-semitism.
