Buddy this is just flat-out racist. Blaming Black teenagers "dressing like thugs" for police violence against Black people is straight-up racist, period. No other way to take that statement. "Dressing like thugs" is not an objective statement; it's a cultural judgment of what constitutes "dressing like a thug" that has been rendered by the norms of white supremacy.

You also just shouldn't go around calling Black people thugs. YouTube Richard Sherman speaking on this to understand why.

It also has not escaped my attention that you do not capitalize "Black" when referring to Black people. That is a choice you're making. You want to talk about how people DO have choices, well you made that choice. It has consequences, one of which is to show us plainly how you feel about whether or not Black should be capitalized.

I feel like you deserve what befell you and you handled it poorly. I would say I hope you can learn and grow from this experience, but your recalcitrance in the face of all this suggests you will not, and will instead start a Substack to capitalize on white grievance. And it will probably work out just fine for you, because that's how white privilege works. Cheers.
